With 944% three-year growth, Tru Earth recognized as 46th in Canada's Top Growing Companies

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Monday, September 26th, 2022 - For a third year in a row, Tru Earth has secured a top placement on the 2022 Report on Business list of Canada's Top Growing Companies. The prestigious list ranks Canadian companies on three-year revenue growth and at 944% growth over this time period, Tru Earth is positioned at number 46 out of all companies.

Founded in 2019, Tru Earth’s offering of eco-friendly and plastic-free household cleaning products gives consumers an opportunity to help eliminate plastic from the planet. Each year, approximately 645 billion plastic household product containers are dumped in landfills and oceans worldwide. The #TruEarthMovement, composed of more than 1 million mission-driven consumers in 78 countries, has prevented more than 100 million plastic containers from being created. As part of its environmental social good commitments, Tru Earth has reduced transport related carbon emissions for their products by up to 94 percent and donated more than 18 million loads of laundry detergent to in-need community organizations globally.

“Our vision to disrupt the global $235 billion household cleaning products market with an innovative and eco-friendly suite of offerings has been made possible by the continued support of our #TruChangeMakers throughout the world. They are, in part, responsible for this recognition, an important and meaningful milestone to all of us at Tru Earth,” said Tru Earth CEO & Co-founder, Brad Liski. “Today, our success as a business is aligned with our movement to eradicate plastic from households, landfills and the ocean – and continues to fuel our growth in Canada, the U.S. and across 78 countries worldwide.”

Canada’s Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking that honors the boldest entrepreneurial achievement by identifying and bringing the accomplishments of innovative businesses in Canada to the forefront. In order to qualify for this voluntary program, companies completed an in-depth application process. In total, 430 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking.

Tru Earth COO, Liz Carr comments, “After several decades in the traditional CPG world, it’s exciting to be part of an organization where our mission to eradicate plastic is integrated into our business goals, a strategic model that has fueled our fast-paced growth. I look forward to working with our team to continue this momentum as we enter new markets around the world.”

With the US as Tru Earth’s largest market, the company recently helped to lower its carbon footprint for US customers by incorporating as a US headquarters and operations site. To honor this achievement and incorporation, Tru Earth hosted cleanups at two California shorelines in honor of this year's International Coastal Cleanup Day. Together with Ocean Wise, San Francisco Baykeeper and over 75 TruChangeMakers, an astounding 925 pounds of trash was collected and prevented from polluting the oceans.

Tru Earth’s robust donation program provides eco-friendly household products to organizations in need across the globe. This initiative has reached more than 800 organizations, including Canadian health care workers, maternity programs in Ghana, and food banks throughout the U.S. and Canada.

In just three years, Tru Earth’s collective fight to eradicate plastics and combat climate change has grown extensively. To build on this trajectory, the company plans to increase its number of shoreline cleanups and strengthen its donations program, continue evolving the product line, and further its roll-out to additional key markets around the globe.
